Leadership

Greg Harrison served in the United States Navy, and operated as a Naval Intelligence Strike Warfare Analyst (MOS IS-3923); he was awarded numerous medals to include a Commendation medal for conduct in support of Operation Southern Watch (Iraq).  Mr. Harrison facilitated operational security for two Special Access Programs (SAP), e.g., “black ops,” and routinely provided Physical Security in highly sensitive locations (including safeguarding material while in transport) including multiple SAP and Special Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIFs), safeguarding material classified up to Top Secret/SCI that were detrimental to our national security.  Mr. Harrison was also a Subject Matter Expert in special-forces strategy & tactic, ground order of battle & battle damage assessment.

While serving in the intelligence community, Mr. Harrison was adept in foreign geo-politics for certain countries of critical interest; he was the lead operator in the tactical afloat mission planning systems for planning aerial strike plans, and lead targeting analyst in the use of aperture point-positioning photogrammetric systems for the use of precision-guided munitions.  Mr. Harrison liaised with, conducted research for, and presented analytical speeches to the 7th Fleet Admiral’s staff, for which his performance was lauded by the Admiral and his staff.  Mr. Harrison was also a key analyst supporting joint training operations with SEAL Team 3, 3rd Detachment in Cobra Gold, RIMPAC, and other joint exercises.  Other accomplishments include Mr. Harrison’s certifications in his use of pistol & carbine weapons, and survival training courses from the venerable SERE School for deployments to the Middle East.

Post-military-life for Mr. Harrison includes legal experience, which began with the Office of the City Attorney’s C.L.E.A.R. Program, Hardcore Gang Division.  Mr. Harrison was part of an inter-agency criminal prosecution ‘dream team,’ where he corresponded with LAPD task force members and defendants, in addition to conducting legal research, preparing court filings, trial preparation, and maintained a violent-offenders records database.  However, Mr. Harrison’s experience in law reached its summit while clerking at an AV rated law firm in Monterey County, where he specialized in wills & trusts, trust administration, probate, and domestic & international (offshore) asset protection.

Mr. Harrison has studied for his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance, Juris Doctorate degree, and Master of Laws degree in ‘International Equity and Trusts,’ with a concentration in offshore trust laws & issues in international jurisdictions, EU conventions & foreign treaties during his legal career.  Mr. Harrison brought his legal knowledge from behind the desk to the security industry, based on the belief that close protection and physical security services are as significant, comprehensive, and carry as much legal efficacy as an estate plan, to the extent that every implementation of a security plan should be as detailed and tailored for each client as an estate plan would be for a trust’s settlor.

With more than 12 years of military & civilian operational security experience under his belt, Mr. Harrison has established Gibraltar Security Services, Inc., as a leading security service provider, employing many other like-minded military veterans & off-duty law enforcement as our security specialists.  Mr. Harrison never forgets that paying attention to detail, maintaining personal integrity & professionalism, and possessing unique specialization, are the intelligent, honorable & ethical ways to conduct business with clients from a customer-service perspective, to best maintain their personal safety & public-image unlike any other security provider in the industry.
